- We are tackling on a project for implementation of plastic waste separation
and recycling at floating villages on Lake Tonle Sap in the Kingdom of
Cambodia. In order to control the generation of marine plastics, we are
supporting the establishment of a system for segregating and recycling
the plastic waste that is discharged into lakes in villager's daily lives.
On this site, we publish the progress of the project planning and implementation,
points of difficulty, etc., so please take a look.
- This project was adopted as a JICA grassroots technical assistance project
in 2021 and has been implemented since March 2023. (Until April 2024)
- From 13:00 on July 12 (Wednesday), Okayama University and JICA Chugoku
Center will present an interim report on this project at the Co-education
Co-creation Commons (CLT Structure) on the Tsushima Campus of Okayama University.
